RAKAN STRATEGIK PENARAFAN

Minggu ini terlibat dengan persediaan untuk meningkatkan kedudukan penarafan di bawah anjuran Institut Kualiti dan Pengembangan Ilmu (InQKA) dan Institut Pengurusan Penyelidikan dan Inovasi (IRMI)  akan diadakan pada 13 Mei 2016 bertempat di Hotel Grand Bluewave, Shah Alam.

Mesyuarat ini bertujuan untuk menentukan sasaran pencapaian setiap fakulti serta membina strategi khusus bagi mencapai sasaran tersebut. Di antara perkara yang akan ditetapkan sasarannya adalah H-index pensyarah UiTM. Pihak fakulti juga memerlukan maklumat Jurnal berindeks Scopus yang diwartakan di bawah fakulti masing-masing untuk membantu pembinaan strategi yang akan disusun.

Terlibat sebagi fasilitator untuk memberikan maklumat berikut 
a) Bilangan H-index pensyarah (dari Scopus sahaja) untuk tahun 2015, dan bilangan tersebut perlu  dibahagikan mengikut fakulti.
b) Senarai jurnal berindeks Scopus untuk setiap fakulti

Introduction

This workshop is intended for researchers, lecturers, librarians, and information professionals interested in the following topics and issues:

• Why citations are important to your publications and your university
• How citations are created
• How to conduct research and publish articles that attract citations
• The relationship and differences among citations, journal impact factors, h-index
• How to track citations and h-index of your publication
• Which is more important to you: getting citations to your article or getting your article published in high impact journal?
• How you can improve the accuracy of your citation count
• How to differentiate the uniqueness and overlap of bibliographic data from various databases.

Workshop Delivery

The two-day workshop is interactive.  Participants will have opportunities to ask questions, engage in discussions and do online search where relevant.  Participants should bring their laptop to take advantage of the wi-fi facility at the venue.
