Congratulations UiTM! 1st Runner Up of Wiley's Research in Malaysia Quiz Competition

Tahniah kepada Pustakawan Universiti Teknologi MARA kerana menjadi 1st Runner Up dalam Research in Malaysia Inter-University Championship Online Competition 2014 . Penyertaan Warga UiTM merupakan bilangan penyertaan yang  kedua teramai  di seluruh Universiti di Malaysia. Keputusan kuiz ini menunjukkan bahawa  usaha kita  sebagai pustakawan untuk menggalakkan bukan sahaja kuiz tetapi juga kandungan dan kemudahan melalui Perpustakaan Wiley Online tidak sia-sia dan amat membuktikan kewajaran.

Pada awalnya penyertaaan penyertaan  Quiz Research in Malaysia 2014  pada 3 Jun 2014  jumlah penyertaan secara bandingan antara universiti-universiti di Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) jumlah penyertaan warga UiTM agak kurang iaitu  berada di kedudukan 10 antara 10 Universiti di Malaysia.

Selepas keputusan pertama yang dimaklumkan oleh Wiley, Staf  Bahagian Perkhidmatan Akademik (BPA) PTAR telah mengambil inisiatif mempromosi penyertaan dalam kuiz ini secara sistematik kepada semua warga UiTM melalui:

1.         Booth Library Outreach di FKE

2.         Iklan elektronik di portal PTAR dan page Online Database

3.         Hebahan di media-media sosial

4.         Hands on semasa Kelas Kemahiran Maklumat

5.         Penyertaan berterusan di Meja Rujukan dan sesi konsultansi

Akhirnya tahniah dan penghargaan khusus diucapkan kepada semua warga Perpustakaan UiTM di atas usaha menaikkan semula kedudukan UiTM dalam Wiley's Research in Malaysia Quiz yang telah berlansung dari tarikh 10 Mei hingga 20 Julai 2014 yang lalu.
